I didn't hear no bell

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I'll take 2. I see it is made in japan, but no specs such as weight/capacity or whether it has the new gearing.

I saw those the other day and thought it was a fake since I didn’t see anything on here about it. I’d take the red off but it looks good. It is irritating if they’re currently making these because some of the parts required Daiwa claims have been discontinued with no parts available.

I'd be interested, but not at ~ $391 US

Yeah thats the problem. These have been on Aliexpress for a few years but haven't been selling. They appear to be a an SV103 frame 34mm Zillion. Interesting that this is the 1st time they are calling the SV103 what it is, a Zillion.

And the colors are a little over the top as well. But for $250-ish it would be a compelling price even against current Daiwa models.

While they might look good (red accent is ugly, tho), the new zillion is better in every way, so i wouldn't buy this, especially at that price.

Old Zillion = reliable old muscle car

New Zillion = current high end sports car

For me I will take the new technology every time.
