Daiwa spool swaps

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Daiwa spool swaps

Hey guys! I have a question about swapping spools between 2 reels. I really like the 18 Zillion HLC 1516 but want the spool from the 1520 18 Zillion HD for more line capacity. I'll be using the reel for swimbaits. Are the 2 interchangable or no? I've always been Shimano and am not too familiar with Daiwa specifics. Any help is appreciated.

I belive it does. I use the stock spool and Catalina TW spool in my HD. I like the stock spool with bait baits and heavy non braid up to 4oz baits so far.
