Sinker stops for 6/7/8lb sniper?

Post by oops » Thu Jul 08, 2021 11:30 am

I love pegging my weights with sinker stops but I've yet to find one that doesnt slide when used with 8lb and lighter sniper. The best I've used are the VMC small size, but they still slide a decent amount. Anyone have a sinker stop with a real snug fit that they like using?

Try the cheap Eagle Claw ones you can find at Walmart. They have some small sizes.

Decoy makes some for small line sizes. I prefer T-pegs when I really don't want something to slip.

The 6th Sense stops are the best that I have tried. I haven't used them on smaller fluoro, but they hold better than the cheap ones on the heavier line. They should work better on smaller line also.
