All 3 of the Rapala Ripstops I bought this past year had the bill break off. I generally throw these in open water, definitely not banging them up against rocks. None of my other crankbaits are experiencing broken bills - just seem these Ripstops are really fragile. Is this a known thing with them or am I just one unlucky as hell fisherman?

My dad and I use a ton of those and I've never had a problem breaking them off. My dad has never broken one either and he's they let it bounce off the rocks into the water kind of guy. I would contact rapala. I know that Megabass stands behind their products in that sense and that would be surprised if rapala didn't at least replace one.
