They are pure Bass Candy.....Image
Damn, a box of chocolates. What are your favorites?? And why? Color, weight, action.

Do you find that fishing them fast or slow works best. LIke a popper or a crawler or just pause, jiggle, pause?

What are those two smaller ones on the top row?
This photo was taken in 16 it is now filled with Sigletts (3/16oz) and Grand Sigletts (1/4oz) only. There are casted on a PG BFS 68 Long Distance with 15 Aldebaran 50HG spooled with Yo-Zuri 10lb. Favorite colors are in both are Aburazemi, Higurashi and Min Min Zemi and Smoke. If you can still find the Mat Version with the Glow Wings they are the best and would highly suggest you go to Samurai Tackle to do so or at least for reference. As for fishing these little gems as soon as it hits the water and the wings spread out is by far is the most productive keeping in mind always looking for weed row edges and pockets. Now if you get past that with out a blowup try twitching it a few times just like you would see a bug trying hop on the water. Thirdly a slow retrieve about 3-5 feet at a time and repeat. P.S Have read Negative about the hooks on the Grand in the past , however never have had a problem with the hookup with stock hooks.

Thanks rp346 for the information. I see a deep rabbit hole. I will try out the Sigletts once the weather gets good.

On a side note, I saw a guy on YouTube fishing on with a foam ear plug with a hook and he got bit. I am looking forward to some fishing with the Sigletts.

Try a double split ring under a Siglett with the up sized hook.

Interesting - the hook won't swing up and catch under the wing?

Depends on the ferocity of the cast. It's been tangle free on the educated casts that are gentlemanly...

If you catch my drift.

What color is it that comes with a furry bottom on the bug? I don't see anything like that on TW.

We commonly get them here with "fur finish"...

Should be able to get them online I guess?

Do the huge hatches cause fishing to slow down for anyone? like the fish get so many easy chances at food that they dont bite as often because the live in a cicada buffet.

Had this happen once after a massive hatch of white millers on the Mississippi.

I don't know whether enough cicadas fall into the water to sate the appetite of bass, though.

Not trying to offer a better alternative just an alternative that has worked well for me with walleyes: Savage Gear Sg Larveaea55-SS. Tight lines
