110 FX Tour Premium
Anyone using these? Curious on the durability of the lip. Thanks for any info you can provide.
Re: 110 FX Tour Premium
I got a couple for Christmas one year from wife trying to do her best to get me something I’d use. I’ve had no trouble with the durability compared to a regular 110. But I break at least 5 110s annually against docks. Trouble is I don’t have the confidence in the action of the FX compared to a regular 110. I personally don’t see an outstanding increase in casting distance to outweigh any loss in confidence regarding action. Might be all in my head.

Thanks for the review, kind of what I was thinking, but I have no experience lol. Looks like not many people use them, which also tells me a lot. A buddy bought 5 or 6 of them and wants me to repaint, but I wanted to be sure it would be worth it and hold up on some fish before going through that expense.Polkfish1 wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 5:00 amI got a couple for Christmas one year from wife trying to do her best to get me something I’d use. I bought one and fished it hard. Bill held up and I was able to get more distance casting it as well. I could just bomb that bait. Try one and see what you think. Not sure if the action was different than the standard 110 but it was a top producer a couple summers ago.

Megabass replaces these for free, so even if it breaks, its not a problem. Has one broke on me earlier in the season. Send them the broken 110, they send me 2 as a replacement
