What’s your casting setup for this crank

Tim should chime in in this...he is a Bling 55 aficionado.

Me personally, I think a mag BFS type spool with a ML-M/mod-fast rod would be perfect. Line of choice to follow your preference.

I was fortunate to snatch a good amount when they came back out and after stocking up I need to us it. It’s 5/16 of an ounce and I was thinking some sort of pixy but I have a hidden gem I was thinking of using and ironically it was purchased from Tim

Speak of the devil.....
I have used both an og Alphas and an og pixy with great results, but my Alphas tw gets the nod now. Fwiw, I think the bling is among the all-time greats. I've caught fish 12 months out of the year with it, and some solid fish, as well, including a few over 8 lbs.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I this combo is flamming hot.. 5/16 and light lures no problem.. OSP HPF, Lucky Craft lure , bling 55 and another lure I forgot who makes it.. Steez EX, Great Drag cause Im only using 8lb test but the 1016 G1 spool is grits on this amazing DTC megabass rod.. I've not caught so many fish on any other MB cranking rod.

I believe the lure is 5/16oz not 3/16, I like a medium fast for my shallow cranks, I use a 7’ st croix avid x m/f with alphas 800, 10# yz hybrid, no bfs needed.

Your are correct ( post corrected ) . I should have double checked myself.

The PH Custom Lures Skinny P is 3/8 ounce as is The Lucky Craft KJ Flat Is

IMX PRO 843 CBR with an Alphas CT SV 7.2 and 10 lb Sniper. This should be getting a workout this weekend with water temps being cold.
