Went to the Rockland fishing expo in Suftern, NY today. Was able to purchase a abu revo stx for $170 and also picked up a kistler helium lta model HE66MC
rod for $179. Im itching to try out my new combo.

I'm sure you're gonna love it! I have my STX on a Kistler APC and it's my go-to rig...I grab it over my TD-ITO most of the time!

I tried my first STX about a month ago. I now own 3!! I love these reels. I have mine mounted on a 6'9" Helium LTA, a mbr783c imx, and a 7'0" heavy Kistler Mg Jig N Toad.

Congrats on the new stuff!! $170 is a great price for that reel. $200 is a bargain for the performance you get out of them...
