looking to expand my collection, as I want to start fishing more of these this year. I own a few frenzy's. What are your guys favorite 'rattle trap' type baits.

The Orig Bill Lewis Traps are great baits. I like the chrome blue/ black and the smokey Joe colors along with some Orange ones.

My 2 favorites are the Original Bill Lewis Rat-L-Traps in chrome/blue or a crawfish pattern...or the Rattlin Rapala in the 3/8 oz size in the same 2 color patterns listed before. I've just recently started fishing them more often and I've caught a few big fish on them already.

I prefer Rattlin' Rapalas. I catch a lot of fish in clear water with the bone color. In stained water, firetiger works well for me.
I also really like Megabait Veepers. The 1/2 ounce bait has a small profile so I can cast farther but still keep my bait small.

Cordell Super Spot. I just got a Strike King Red Eye Shad to try. Don't know yet how it will be.

I throw the original Bill Lewis Rat-l-trap, the Yozuri Rattle-n-vibe, the newer Excaliber lipless baits and some lucky craft...

Colors stay the same no matter what... I throw three colors... chrome/blue, red craw, and chartruese/blue... never had to throw any other colors...

Chrome/blue is great in clear water and sunny days... the Chartruese in cloudy days... and red craw for stained water...

You know, I'm not sure. It's a Cotton Cordell. Maybe their website has that info.

Cordell Neon Spot They were ghost colours way before the trend. Cultiva rattling Vibes in baby bass is another great vibe. Yozuri Flat Vibes as well as the Hardcore and Rattlin Vibe are great too. Blue and chrome Super spot is always a great lure as well. Snidley
