Recreating Dale Sellers custom spinnerbait

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

Recreating Dale Sellers custom spinnerbait

Post by dragon1 » Sat Apr 02, 2022 5:19 pm

I lost my last Dale Sellers custom 3/8 oz Clown III with 7 strand chartreuse belly spinnerbait today...man, that sucked because I think he retired a while back.

Dale powder coated and airbrushed the head as well as airbrushed the double willow blades with red fire tips and metallic gold dust metal flake, and lacquer coated the blades.

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who could recreate this spinnerbait?

I would go on the garage baits forum on TackleTour and see if someone wants to paint the baits the way that you want. There look to be some talented painters there.

I had a member reach out to me...I'll send over the samples and see if he can match them up.

Thanks.

post some pics when you get the baits, i'd love to see them.
spinnerbaits are things i love to tinker with, and try and make more my own i guess. don't know why, but i just can't make myself pour my own.

I'll ask a member to post for me as I haven't updated my pic host since PhotoBucket went and held my account and thousands of pics hostage.
