Re: Classic Predictions
I like Jason Christie, but its almost too obvious and easy to pick. Tour level skills, VERY local, and the most recent success/least time removed from the local tournament scene. Based on the weather pattern (still very cold nights and not enough warming water temp during the day (yet),I think it's going to stay a jerkbait-jig pattern but the hollow belly swimbait, crankbait, and possibly a spinnerbait could play.

Re: Classic Predictions
Everyone throwing 110s and then pimping their sponsored jerkbaits right LOL.steve1206 wrote:I like Jason Christie, but its almost too obvious and easy to pick. Re: Classic Predictions
There will be some of that for sure. Will be hard to hide with cameras and you'll see guys backing up the 110 with other baits just for a different look. If the jerkbait is on full throttle and the dominant pattern as expected, you'll see guys with multiple brands/sizes on the front deck, to soak on productive banks. Side note: A-rig would dominate and up the weights significantly.BucketHunter wrote:Everyone throwing 110s and then pimping their sponsored jerkbaits right LOL.steve1206 wrote:I like Jason Christie, but its almost too obvious and easy to pick. Re: Classic Predictions
47/24 Thurs
45/25 Fri
51/32 Sat
going to be interesting as Im sure its going to be a Jerkbait, jig war out there..
Mike Mc might do well with his football jig
KVD is a beast with the jerkbait
Aaron Martens with the scrounger
EE just signed with megabass so he will be throwing the jerkbait

Re: Classic Predictions
I usually hibernate a little in the winter when it comes to fishing, but the Classic is my awakening. I get so excited! Wish it aired on tv with good coverage.

Re: Classic Predictions
Cliff Pace! Man when I saw he had 4 bites all day I thought Palaniuk was going to pull off the win.
Sounds like jerks, squarebills and jigs were tied on all around for everybody that did well..
