Re: How do I Care For My Kayak
In the states i think 303 Aerospace Protectant comes in a specific kayak, sup, canoe spray application.
Here is Aus, just the normal 303 applied with a lightly soaked brush applied to rough finished kayak surfaces and drag off any excess with a thin rectangular sponge and allow time for the product to soak in.
Those cheap chinese kayak covers off eBay are pretty good value for covering kayaks.

Or don't. I use mine and then drag it behind the garage. Drag it out next time I want to go kayaking. Once in a blue moon I'll take a rag to the launch area and quickly wash the crud off it.DetroitBassN wrote:Just spray it off every time your done on a water way.

Re: How do I Care For My Kayak
I rinse mine off with a garden hose. Afterward, I like to take a lawn/leaf blower and blow it relatively dry to get all of the water out of the tracks, out of rod holders, etc. I take a cloth and give it a quick final drying and store it in my garage out of the sun.
It makes a difference putting them away clean.
I do use the 303 product but that only needs to be done infrequently.

I just do a quick fresh water rinse whether I've been in fresh or salt water. Sometimes a quick wipe to get the pollen/junk off.
