Those are sweet. I think most people on here have nice rods and reels and hoof it around the lake. \:D/

I currently have my bass boat up for sale :crying: Used to tx fish a lot, but just dont have the time for it anymore. Figured this would give me a good opportunity to fish places I could not access with a normal boat.

You'll have a lot of fun in that kayak. Nice and light for dragging to difficult to access spots, and should handle any type of fishing you want to do. I also rarely use my boat anymore, unless I'm fishing a tourney. Fun fishing is a blast out of the kayak, and soooo much cheaper! Adding a rudder is a really nice addition to the shorter kayaks, they don't always track straight. I'd also recommend adding a rod holder near the seat to put the rod in while unhooking fish.

I have a Tarpon 100 that I got back in the spring for under $400 shipped! Brand new, discontinued previous season color. It's a great little kayak and compliments the Old Town Predator MX that I have as well.

Congrats! Been fishing out of a Wildy ride135 for the last 3 years. Love it, and not sure I can go back to shore fishing. Just fish it as is before doing any permanent mods. Lots of stuff out there and on a kayak, less is more. Let me know if you got any questions.

I know it's an old topic, but I just got my 2017 T100. It is perfect for small waters, ponds, small lakes, coves, creeks, rivers. It's my favorite piece of new tackle.

I got the 120 and absolutely love it. Might not be rigged with rod holders etc but my milk crate is and the yak paddles great. So far only tested it on lakes but as soon as water levels drop (midwest may floods) I will take it to chase some river smallies. My new favorite piece of gear.
