Shimano Cardiff Stream Limited

Post by Firstoutfisher » Mon Jul 04, 2022 5:12 pm

So I got bit by the trout bug again and I am taking a small break from my bass fishing gear enthusiasm and order a 2022 Stella c2000s. Now I am looking for a rod to pair it with. I was originally intending on getting a tenryu rayz or rayz spectra. I wish I didn't sell my great hunting extreme climber which are no impossible to find. Anyway now I am eying the 4 piece 2022 Shimano Cardiff Stream limited rod instead of a tenryu. They are almost twice as much cost wise. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I've had the two-piece model, S54Ul, for a few months now. Excellent rod, fast taper with responsive tip, which is great for flip casts Tetsuya Henmi style. I especially like it with 0.6 braid and 4-5 g sinking minnows. Aesthetically, extremely pleasing.
