I just bought the Metanium METMGL151HGB today. This is such a premium casting reel.

Is a BFS spool available for this reel? If so where can I find one?

But, THERE IS NO BRAKES on it, you must replace 2 pcs from original spool.

THERE IS NO BRAKES on it, you must replace 2 pcs from original spool.

I pull a couple off an old SLX spool and they fit fine. I didn't want to mess with the Met spool since I want to switch back and forth without messing with the brakes each time.

I have a BFS spool in one of mine. I’ve yet to test either reel nor spool at this point though so I’m not able to give any feedback.

I use 2 ktf and diy spool in mine - works great.
You can get a diy brake base on the Chinese site and just move two brake arms from your met spool...
