Tsurinoya Dexterity Ⅱ C722UL

Post by jvelth74 » Sun Jan 29, 2023 12:44 pm

I'm planning to order Tsurinoya Dexterity Ⅱ C722UL, because it has perfect dimension of 114 cm of closed length. But is it good caster? I think that's some kind of Ajing rod and I think it might be pretty similar than Kuying Superlite SAC762S, but slightly shorten and lighter? How Dexterity II will cast ~4 grams, is it good caster in it's length?

What is an Ajing rod? I have seen a few other Aliexpress rods with that title.

Ajing Fishing is the lightest(?) game fishing. They throw plastics 3 - 5 grams. Rod's are 7 - 8'6", UL or light rating, but still backbone, with a soft tip.

I don’t have that particular rod, but I have 2 tsurinoys proflex rods, one casting and one spinning, they are well made quality rods at a great price, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed

Choosing a rod from Ali is sometimes really hard :-D I have spent hours (or maybe 10 hour) to evaluate options I have :) It's somehow fascinating and also frustrating in the same time :D

I have looked trough Tsurinoya And Kuying rod's and also some other brands from Ali. Currently I'm thinking to buy Dexeterity II C632UL despite of C722UL because C632 has better lure range and however it might have better length and taper for my need. Also Iooked Dexterity 1, which handle I probably would like more than 2.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I decided not to use anymore my time to thinking of should I buy C632UL or C722UL, and decided to do TackleTour choise :D But seller was risen prices of products from yesterday, and hi saved me. Moreover I changed seller and ordered from other seller C632UL.

Some sort of saltwater lure rod with soild carbon tips and good power to hook fish. There is some bottom dweling shore accessible fish they are used for casting and working tiny jigs. In freshwater they seem more appropriate for casting crappie jigs.

That last part is what I was looking for, what is the US freshwater application. I would like to try one eventually. Been fishing heavier, 3.5g or 1/8oz heads and catching less bream/panfish/crappie. I feel like something about the fall rate with a 1/16 or less helps. Don't really have a setup for 1/16 or less.

It seems that British people uses similar rod's for Light Rock Fishing than Asian people use for Ajing Fishing :)

Thanks! I have not yet disappointed with Tsurinoya rods. Tsurinoya is in my opinion a quality (chinese) rod maker. Or maybe they actually are HongKong rodmaker, which is in my opinion different thing than Chinese :) Excellent review of 3 Tsurinoya Rods:

Somehow I wish that I would seen this video before I ordered rod, but it would just make more headache by the other hand. And actually currently I'm pretty confident that ordered one, Dexterity II C632UL is a correct rod for my need. :)

Not a huge fan of the rod, vs.1 perhaps. Solid tip, funny action as I recall with the solid tip having much impact on the lighter body, not a good distance caster. Caught a few fish with it and gave it away.

Ok, thanks for info, despite of that's bad news to me. But I will compare casting distance to Kuying Freestyle Walker UL. If Dexterity II outcasts Freestyle Walker, it's enough good caster. Btv, which rod you substituted Dexterity II?

Oh - ok, those are way more higher end rods than Tsurinoya's :) So far I haven't yet met bad Tsurinoya rod anyway - but let's see will Dexterity be the first of that kind :D

I have the exact rod c722 along with Proflex 632. It can cast 1/16oz head with 2” plastic quite well. I can get it down to 1/24oz head. I used the rod for 10-12” crappie and small bass. The rod has pretty soft tip from being solid tip but also have some backbone better than Teton. The problem though if you swing hard on heavier 1/8 head plus 2-3” you have chances to break the tip, happened with my Proflex.
Check you PM.
