Some words of wisdom for those of you starting out in BFS

If you're like me and you're only targeting largemouth bass, pan fish etc, you don't need to fill your spool up with line.
When I put line on a spool, I'm only using 100 to 110 feet. I remember back when I first started, I would fill it to the rim and I know that the performance of the spool suffered from it because line is heavy. :D

That's true! And the best if spool volume is just as small as possible, which is just enough! Then retrieve is not un-necessarily slowed down by half spool.
