Where is everyone getting their BFS oil from online? I need to oil the line guide worm drive on my 22 Aldebaran BFS and figure I’d do a full oil service on it.

I use grease on the worm drive, you can get high speed bearing oil on tackle warehouse, should work fine

Super Lube ISO 10 light oil, it's used for bearings and spindles in precision machinery, great stuff! It used to be cheap but now an 8 oz bottle runs $20. I paid $9 for mine a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the links, you’ve steered me in the right direction. I should have mentioned I’m located in Australia which makes things a little more difficult.

Inox MX6 has a NLGI of 0 in the tub and a 00 rating in the squeeze tubes. And your only using a miniscule amount in the reality of things - excels in quiet a few areas but not on gears for me.

You can source TSI oil in Australia but through very few people - when I got a direction I bought 2 bottles and use bugger all of it (due to its nature and how far it goes).

I went through the 4gr and under club back in circa 2014 with a Volkey BFS and 2 Calcutta's (50B and 50XT with HH bearings and super tuning), now that's come into a Benki BF with a Curado 70i with HH spool bearings and super tuning to cast the really light stuff for Bream, Bass, Tilapia etc. The Curado 70i is a bit more versatile with brakes and I am less worried of it being damaged than the irreplaceable CT50's.

Wouldn't call myself an addict to the BF game, dabbled in it and keep the technique alive just enough to cast to keep out of the wind and trees.

TSI 321 is a lubricant and TSI 320 is a solvent. You want the lubricant.

I was using TSI 321 on worm gears and I thought that it was maybe a little bit too thin for that application so I started using Bantam Oil.

Not sure if my thinking is correct on that but that is what I am doing now.

Edit - I just Googled TSI 320 and I didn't get any results. Am I imagining this or is anyone else ever heard of it? I seem to remember on these forums years ago people were saying to always use the 321 because it is a lubricant and the 320 is a solvent but now I can't even find it online

What was the alcohol for TSI 321? In my country I think I can't get pure enough medical alcohol, because in here we just can't buy too strong ethanol .
