In that case, here's a 5S610mlxf with an AmTak CF grip and hood, Aero seat and acrylic winding check.

It's a little more on topic!

That winding check is on point 8-) . It's all about those details. I'm getting ready to order the AT handle assembly soon...though not sure on the reel seat. Have you seen or used the Bushido style grips? Might look good, should I want to go with the murdered out / stealth look.

I haven't seen the Bushido finish. I really like the CF pattern, this one was the 3k. I wish the sleeve wasn't gloss on it though, I prefer matte.

Those handles look great. I had ordered some from NFC a couple months ago and they look very similar if not identical. I have built on one. The problem was they came without trim pieces so the fact these come with trim is a problem solver in my mind. Love the work!!

The next ones I do, I'm gonna try to turn acrylic trims to match the hood.

How did you do it? 1st inner hole for ULH and then shaping outer dimension for perfect? Looks very good!
Yea. Bore the ID to fit the hood, then turn the OD. I made bushings to hold the acrylic on my 1/2" mandrel.

It is quite thin once shaped to the proper size.

Here's a few more I did.

I've built both. What you want to know? Theres arbor inside in every part. Very easy to install, if you use those AT own winding checks. Fits mostly reelseats. These aren't light as CFX or Batson grips are, but very nice.
How's the texture on those handles? I assume it's smooth, but is it like a slick, glossy smooth, or is there some tac to it? :-k

They're smooth, but not to the point of being slippery. At least I never noticed it, but I hold mostly on the reel seat.

1000-1500 grit sandpaper will turn most glossy finishes to matte

It's matte and quite slippery when wet/slimy.

Awesome work first of all! A true craftsman.

The tenon pieces of these handles work with Fuji PTS PULS seats just fine. The diameters are perfect. Those trim pieces also work with the NFC Soft Touch handles as transition parts.

I will say I like the feel of the NFC parts better but I haven't fished either yet so we will see next spring!!
