Not sure how many people would be interested but a high quality fly rod builder, greywolf rods, buils UL fiberglass spinning and casting rods in 5'3", 6', and 7'. I have a 6' being built to test out.

He says he has his own blanks made in Michigan. His are all 3 piece I believe. 2-6#. Recommends 2-4# though.Hobie-Wan Kenobi wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 12:34 pmWhat blanks are used? I have been on the lookout for a UL BFS glass rod

I'm not sure. Sounded like he made them from the way he talks. He owns rights to steffen brothers and trout Smith fly blanks. Ive seen his fly rods mentioned several times on other forums and noticed he had casting and spinning rods also. Figured I'd give one a try. Mine should be done sometime next week.Hobie-Wan Kenobi wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 2:57 pmHuh...I live in Michigan.
