Brass ferrules fitting to rod

Post by jvelth74 » Thu Feb 09, 2023 12:43 pm

Wow! Very educating:

I was thinking to fit ferrules by varnishing rod by microball glass / epoxy and sand it until it's perfect. But that superglue trick seems handy...

I am not clear on what he was doing? Trying to get the blank centered?

Love the handle with multiple blanks idea

He was creating tight fitting blank to ferrule, by first making yarn spirale and after that gradually adding more super glue until fitting was tight. Yarn spirale grants that there will be epoxy glue in every part of fitting.
