I'm back and looking looking @ porta-bote...

Post by FoldCat » Fri Mar 04, 2011 7:35 am

Hi Guys,

I haven't posted in a long time, busy dad, winter, busy, etc...

Well I've been snooping around the .net and I'm looking at a "new" porta-bote again. I been chuming around with my bro on his ranger, but he's way to busy at the wrong times (usually when I can go fishing) - so I'm looking for a small carft I can launch alone, sometimes with my son, to explore those little spots I don't usually get to.

I am hoping somebody on this forum has one, or has sued one and can give me some real feedback. It seems everyone on the .net loves 'em...

I have read the review here on TT several times, but that was a 2004 review, maybe the TT staff will review latest model(s) and that new "porta-deck", JIP?

Anyways I look forward to any input/feedback, thanks guys...

Did you used to have a fold cat?

Used a portabote a few times, quick and easy set up.

Durable

But found the benches a little narrow
