What boat wax?

Post by drenner43 » Thu Sep 27, 2012 6:39 am

What wax is everybody using to wax their boat? I know of Bass Boat Saver, but I prefer a good wax also.

3M Marine Liquid Wax in the black bottle works very well for me.

Well i've got some Meguiars Marine wax on order to be here this week. Read some pretty good reviews on it and I like their products so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll let you know how it works out

I've heard Shurhold polish is supposed to be good. I purchased a bottle online and it was spilled so I had to return it. I just haven't gotten around to getting the replacement to try out.

3M is the best out there they know more about the chemicals needed to make a good wax because they make a lot of the chemicals used to make the clear coats and the gel coats used in modern fiberglass production I will with the other folks that have posted that there are other products that are very good it's just that I feel the 3M product protects better some might shine a touch better but none will protect your boat better.
