Anglers are all too familiar with the recent accelerated advancement in their fishing reel retrieve ratios. With each passing year, it seems manufacturers are trying to out gain one another. I think marking the reel down for "lack of torque" is a bit unfair. It's a 9.5:1 reel in small package - of course it's going to lack torque.

If I hadn't fished faster reels with better torque, I'd tend to agree, but that is not the case.
