One thing I do is thread in a swivel onto the split rings as added weight. That way I'm not actually switching out the trebles.
slip bobbing is the laziest way to fish

Just so I am following you correctly you just have the swivel hanging from the split ring all willy nilly ?

fir finesse options - a double split ring or heavier gauge rings work. I've even seen people squashing tungsten putty into the 3 hooks nook to add weight discretely.

You just reminded me of those things, I used to do way back then. At first it was merely replacing the split rings for stronger ones and the double split rings was originally intended to extend the hook swing.
