Is the Trick Shop still around?

Doesn't seem so... Which stinks because I always thought that was a great idea ahead of its time. I'm sure it would be a hit if Daiwa or Shimano started doing something similar.

They already have.. how do you think 13 Fishing came up with the idea. 13 was just able to take it a step further because parts in all their reels were interchangeable from one series to the next. The market for tuning parts just isn't that big. It feels like it in forums and groups like this because we're just a small sample size of the overall market.

Thanks Cal. Did 13 Fishing drop the Trick Shop idea completely?

I'm aware of all the JDM sites for aftermarket Daiwa and Shimano parts however I'm unaware of them sponsoring anything stateside and actually marketing it here. 13 didn't come up with a new idea but they seemed like the first who wanted to make that stuff accessible to the American market

All of Daiwa's I'ZE parts were available at TackleWarehouse at one time. The product didn't move, so they stopped carrying it.

and your reply...

"We have discontinued the Trick Shop in the previous form… however, we will relaunch “Trick Shop” specific stuff in the next product cycle. Just kinda changing gears in regard to it.. we love the unique and kick butt no holds barred idea of Trick Shop."

Unfortunately we have phased it out...we are kicking around some ideas for the future in this category.
