Super Eiger, Shading X, Super Rekkai, what more do you need, except more x7s
I wouldn't need anything else. Another vote here for the X7 being the best top to bottom rod series. I have a few the I love and will never part with. Always looking for more of them!
Back on topic, What is the improvement that the NRX+ are supposed to have over the original NRX series?

I read this morning that they are conquest with recoil guides. I’m desperately looking for the answer to that question as well.

I'm into the MBRs. I'm not going to preorder or anything, but if they perform, I would be into upgrading my greens.

Yep, not sure how some don’t like a super high end rod being versatile. I’d rather have versatile than a one trick pony at that price. Helps I love MBR actions as well the fact you can throw a jig and a crankbait on the same high end rod is pretty awesome. Actually thought that’s why so many liked Megabass

Exactly. I'm excited about an NRX 844 MBR. I'm hoping it's the versatile, shorter 3/8 to 5/8 ounce jig pitchin stick I've been looking for. I do wish the Tackle Trap still carried Loomis; I'd probably order one today. As it is I'll wait for user reviews, get some cheese ready, and book a ride on the hype train.

Clicked through the link to the Gloomis site.
Looks like a different reel seat, incorporating the Shimano/Gloomis technology from the Conquest blanks (Spiral X).
Will be curious to read a review of the balance.

Not overly impressed. Was hoping for more full grip in like a 864 or 874 MBR instead of the 1980s 6''6 and 7'0 options . full grip lengths are pretty pedestrian and uninspiring. Only casting models I'm interested in are the 844 MBC and 873 CR . I'm sure the blanks are electric but was hoping for more here. Maybe I'm the minority but..meh.
