I am done answering questions of bias. Feel free to question our integrity, spew out your conspiracy theories, and claim we favor this product or that product. If you don't appreciate our work, go to another site and make your purchasing decisions based on their two paragraphs of painstaking work holding that product in their hand and reading over the press release while they use manufacturer supplied photographs to show off the product. Similar sites will use words phrases like "best ever" or "I've been doing this a long time and let me tell you...", etc., etc..Boondock wrote:Cal??
We get it from both ends. From readers like you who claim we're biased, to manufacturers who claim we're too critical, to others who question our methods and the value of the data we collect. We've heard the second hand stories of disgruntled employees who want to start their own site and take us out, have had manufacturers argue with us over articles, and get emails all the time questioning why we scored something the manner in which we did.
Those who have been around long enough to see this site grow and the diversity of product each of us have reviewed have a good sense of where each editor comes from and knows better than to think we let personal bias get in the way of a review. If you don't, then so be it. You won't be the first and nothing I can say will change your bias towards our reviews.
