We've increased the file size for images to 300kb ... this should be good for images up to roughly 400pixels high by 600 pixels wide at 72dpi - roughly...
To attach files, scroll down to the bottom of your new post and look for the "attachments" tab:
Click that tab and then look for the "Add Files" button:
Search for the image on your computer, then select "Place Inline" to include in the middle of your post:
Or you can just submit and the photos will show up at the bottom of the final post.

I use postimages.org
It allows you to choose from a set list of size choices when you need to resize and it's free.

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
